WOD for tomorrow.

Continue squat program....

EMOM for 20 minutes. Alternating minutes:

15 push jerks (155/115)
15 kettlebell swings (70/53)

I want everybody to watch this video. Stumbled upon it last night. The first 15 seconds and last minute of the video says it all. "Earn It."

  1. any feedback from anyone that did this yesterday? I plan on hitting it today and wanted to see how my fellow masters (Jojo, Rob, Kurt) did on this.

    1 1/2 pood.

    Last 13 min
    125# 7 reps
    1 1/2 pood 10 reps

    Last 3 min
    125# 5 reps
    1 1/2 pood 7-10 reps

  3. started @115# bar and a 1.5 pood KB. On round 6, i started to jerk in the 10s and couldnt complete the 15 so i took some weight off and continued the second half with 95# push jerks, and even that got tough. The kettlebells were fine until the second half as well, when i was throwing less than required, sometimes 10-13, but in the end, was able to finish strong with 15 swings.

  4. I did all the PJ's at 100# and managed to get 15 each rd. except for 8 & 9 I did 12. KB were done at 1.5pd and got 15 all rds. except rd 8 were I only did 12. I had a little mental break down on the 8th rd of each and then kicked it back into gear.

    My big savior was making sure to push jerk and not push press which saved me. I also rep'd out 15 unbroken for a while and then when needed went, 8 ,7, then when it got bad, 6,5,4, always on the downward count of completion.

    I also did the BS at 210#...
